We are committed to ensuring your orders are dispatched promptly and delivered safely to your specified address.

This policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply to the shipping and delivery of all goods purchased from Luxi Designs, whether through our website or via direct quotation.

2. Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 working days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the product listing or at the point of sale. Processing times may vary during peak periods or for items that require additional preparation.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM or on weekends and bank holidays will begin processing on the next working day.

3. Delivery Times

Delivery to UK mainland addresses typically takes 2–5 working days from the point of dispatch, depending on the size, weight, and availability of the items ordered.

4. Delivery Methods

The delivery method used will depend on the size, weight, and nature of the items ordered:

  • Courier delivery – Standard and smaller items are dispatched via our trusted courier partners. Tracking information will be provided where available.
  • Pallet delivery – Larger, heavier, or bulk items (such as shelving bays and commercial fixtures) may be shipped on pallets. Pallet deliveries are typically kerbside only and may require assistance to move items to their final location.
  • Direct delivery – For select orders within Scotland, we may arrange delivery using our own vehicles, allowing for a more flexible service.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, order weight, and dimensions. For larger commercial orders, bespoke projects, or pallet shipments, delivery costs may be provided via a separate quotation.

  • Standard shipping rates are displayed during the checkout process
  • Free delivery may be offered on selected products or during promotional periods
  • Additional charges may apply for remote areas, islands, or expedited delivery

6. Large or Custom Orders

Bulk orders, bespoke products, and large-scale commercial fit-out projects may have longer lead times and separate delivery arrangements. These will be discussed and agreed upon at the point of quotation or order confirmation.

  • Phased deliveries can be arranged for large projects where required
  • Dedicated delivery scheduling is available for commercial installations

7. Missed Deliveries

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that a suitable person is available at the delivery address to receive the goods. If a delivery is attempted and no one is available:

  • The courier may leave a card with instructions for rearranging delivery
  • Re-delivery charges may apply if a second attempt is required
  • For pallet deliveries, re-delivery charges will be at the customer's expense
  • Goods returned to us due to a failed delivery attempt may incur additional shipping costs

Please ensure you provide accurate delivery information, including any access restrictions, at the time of ordering. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect address details or failed delivery attempts.

8. Damaged or Lost Items

We take great care in packing and dispatching your order. However, damage can occasionally occur in transit. If you receive goods that are damaged or if items are missing from your order:

  • You must report any damage or missing items within 48 hours of delivery by contacting us via email
  • Please include photographs of the damaged goods and packaging
  • Do not dispose of the damaged items or packaging until the matter has been resolved
  • We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion once the claim has been assessed

Claims submitted after the 48-hour window may not be accepted. Please inspect all deliveries promptly upon arrival.
