Sales & Project Terms & Conditions

These Sales & Project Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all design, manufacture, supply, delivery, and installation works carried out by B&M Interior Designs Ltd, trading as Luxi Designs ("we", "us", "our").
By accepting a quotation, signing an agreement, or making any payment, the client ("you", "the client") confirms acceptance of these Terms.

2. Design & Manufacturing Lead Time
- Design and manufacturing lead times are estimated at up to 10 working days, depending on project scope, complexity, and material availability
- Lead times are estimates only and may vary due to factors outside our control
3. Delivery
- Delivery dates and times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed
- For larger projects, a delivery schedule or time slot may be provided
- Delays caused by suppliers, couriers, or third parties are outside our control
Where third-party suppliers or couriers are used (including where ordered on the client's behalf), we accept no responsibility for:
- Delays
- Damages
- Product quality
- Performance issues
4. Installation
- Installation dates are separate from delivery dates
- Installation is scheduled based on planning, availability, and site readiness
- A work schedule may be issued for larger projects
If unforeseen site conditions are discovered (including but not limited to hidden services, electrical points, structural barriers, or load-bearing walls):
- Work may be paused
- Additional time and costs may apply
- Revised schedules will be issued where required
5. Storage
If goods are not collected, delivered, or installed within 5 working days of notification, a storage fee of £150 per day will apply until:
- The issue is resolved, and
- All outstanding balances are paid in full
6. Site Readiness
The client is responsible for ensuring the site is:
- Clean
- Safe
- Fully accessible
The client must provide, where required:
- Access
- Parking
- Electricity
- Water
Delays caused by poor site preparation may result in additional labour or standby charges.
7. Skip & Waste Removal
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Skip hire is the responsibility of the client
- Excess waste may result in additional charges or extra skip hire
8. Price Validity
All quotations and prices are valid for 30 days from the invoice or quotation date unless stated otherwise.
9. Payment Terms
- All products must be paid in full prior to production and/or delivery
- Installation fees are payable in full on the day of completion
- Any additional works or extras must be paid immediately to proceed
- Late or unpaid balances may result in suspension of works
10. Ownership of Goods
All goods remain the property of B&M Interior Designs Ltd until paid in full, including delivery and installation costs.
In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to:
- Remove supplied goods, or
- Reclaim goods of equal value
11. Missing or Damaged Items
- Items confirmed as missing or damaged at the time of delivery must be reported immediately
- Replacement or refund is subject to inspection and confirmation
12. No-Warranty Items
Unless stated otherwise:
- Glass
- LED lighting
- Drivers
- Transformers
- Electrical components
Carry no warranty. Replacement or repair will be chargeable.
13. Measurements & Surveys
- All client-provided measurements are the client's responsibility
- Where we have not carried out the site survey, we accept no liability for fitting or sizing issues
14. Design Approval, Cancellations & Deposits
Once designs are approved and production has commenced:
- No changes can be made
- All payments are non-refundable
- Cancellation results in no refund
15. Scope of Works
The accepted invoice or quotation defines exactly what will be supplied.
Any variations or additions must be agreed in writing and may incur additional costs.
16. Communication
Only written terms contained within:
- Quotations
- Invoices
- Agreements
- Official email correspondence
are considered valid.
Verbal communication is not recognised.
17. Health & Safety
We reserve the right to suspend or stop works if the site is deemed unsafe.
Any resulting delays or costs will be the client's responsibility.
18. Marketing & Portfolio Rights
We reserve the right to photograph completed works for use in:
- Website
- Portfolio
- Social media
- Marketing materials
Unless otherwise agreed in writing.
19. Governing Law
All works and agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quotation, signing an agreement, or making any payment, the client confirms that they:
- Have read and understood these Terms
- Agree to be legally bound by them
These Terms are available in full on our website and apply to all projects undertaken by B&M Interior Designs Ltd (trading as Luxi Designs).
